USF Falls to Cincinnati 3-1

CINCINNATI, Ohio, OCT. 11, 2015 – USF’s volleyball team fell to Cincinnati 3-1 (26-24, 16-25, 25-22, 25-23) Sunday at Fifth Third Arena.

Juniors Elyse Panick and Dakota Hampton led the Bulls (6-12, 3-3 The American) with 13 kills each. Hampton added 14 digs for her third-straight double-double.

Freshman Molly Burkhardt and sophomore Alex Mendoza each recorded 22 assists and Wylie Devlin led the Bulls with 28 digs for the Bulls.

USF trailed 15-8 early in the first set before mounting a comeback to tie it 23-23. The Bulls were never able to take a lead as the Bearcats (11-6, 3-3 The American) took the set 26-24.
