TAMPA, MARCH 26, 2017 – After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning, the University of South Florida baseball team scored the last seven runs including six in innings five-seven to win Sunday’s rubber match against Florida A&M University, 7-1.
The Bulls (22-3) trailed early, as the Rattlers (15-9) got on the board in the first inning with a pair of hits and a walk. But senior righty Ryan Valdes (Tampa) was able to settle down to limit FAMU and allow his team to get a feel for the opposing Aubrey McCarty on the mound.
