JACKSONVILLE, Fla., MAY 26, 2016 –Five members of the USF track and field team competed at the NCAA East Preliminary on Thursday at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.
In his third consecutive NCAA appearance, senior Paul Barrett finished fifth in his heat of the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.09. The Tampa native missed out becoming one of 24 to qualify for Friday’s quarterfinals by five one-hundredths of a second. Western Kentucky’s Maor Seged took the final spot with a time of 52.04.
Senior Dwight Davis made his second-straight NCAA appearance in the 400m dash and finished sixth in his heat with a time of 47.
