The skinny: One of the overlooked storylines in the SEC this season is what has happened to Missouri’s defense. Last season, it was excellent despite a horrible offense. This season, it’s atrocious despite a solid offense. The Tigers have surrendered at least 523 yards in three consecutive games. The high last season – when the Tigers held 10 foes under 350 yards and six under 300 – was 430.
13. South Carolina (3-4)

The skinny: The “Jake Bentley era” began with a win over UMass.
