COLUMBIA — Receiver Bryan Edwards will be a “game-time decision” against No. 9 Texas A&M with a hamstring injury suffered near the end of last week’s loss at Kentucky.
Head coach Will Muschamp updated the status of the true freshman Thursday night on his weekly radio program. Sophomore receiver Deebo Samuel, who has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury suffered on the opening play Sept. 10 against Mississippi State, is also a game-time decision Saturday.
At his weekly news conference Tuesday, Muschamp indicated Edwards would be OK for Saturday’s 4 p.m. game. “He tweaked his hamstring at the end of the (Kentucky) game,” Muschamp said then.
