Will Muschamp faces criticism for a variety of things as a head coach, but recruiting isn’t one of them. Muschamp and South Carolina currently have the 15th best recruiting class in the nation according to 24/7 Sports.
With the majority of his commits coming from South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina, he faces fierce competition for these prospects. Muschamp, however, has held his own recruiting toe-to-toe with the likes of Clemson and Georgia.
South Carolina currently has 23 recruits committed with ten more targets it’s still hotly pursuing. The Gamecocks are after three more four-star prospects including Tony Gray, Javon Kinlaw and Brad Johnson with seven additional three-star players.
