South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp has to trust them.
His Gamecocks are in the early portion of a long stretch during which coaches, other than the strength staff, won’t get much hands-on time with them.
“That’s where the leadership of your football team takes over,” Muschamp said. “I feel very comfortable about where we are offensively. When you’re talking in terms of Jake Bentley and Hayden Hurst and Deebo Samuel and Bryan Edwards and those guys, our offensive line, those guys are going to work.”
The Gamecocks coaches won’t get to do on-field work with the team until camp in late July or early August.
