Well. Uh. This game was...something. On the plus side, we only had to endure seven innings. On the downside, that was because the Gamecocks were out of the game early and had almost no chance to get back into it.
LSU took a 3-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a pair of homers by Kramer Robertson and Greg Deichmann. The Tigers tacked on two more runs in the next inning courtesy of a Cole Freeman RBI single and a wild pitch. More runs came in the third inning, as an RBI single made it 6-0 LSU, then back-to-back triples brought in three more runs.
