Playing in yet another elimination game in Hoover, South Carolina’s offense was MIA for pretty much the entire game [insert sarcastic shocked face emoji here]. They did just enough to come away with another win, surviving and advancing again in the SEC Tournament. [insert another shocked face emoji here]

Kentucky scored first, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI groundout. The Gamecocks were no-hit until the sixth inning and the shutout lasted until the seventh inning, when they finally got on the board.

Alex Destino walked to start things off and advanced on a sac bunt by Jonah Bride, Jacob Olson got to first on an error, and then pinch-hitter TJ Hopkins came through with a three-run homer to give South Carolina the lead.
