South Alabama will hold its final full scrimmage of the fall on Saturday morning at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, with a number of starting jobs still being contested.
Head coach Joey Jones said Saturday's scrimmage, which will be closed to the public and the media, will be much more similar to a game than previous scrimmages. The two sides will be split between starters and back-ups.
"We are going to split them down into teams with the ones on one side and the rest on the other," Jones said. "We've got to learn to execute as a team together and get our special teams coordinated with our offense and defense.
