JAGS TAKE RUBBER MATCH TO CLINCH ASU SERIES

JONESBORO, Ark. – Every University of South Alabama baseball starter hit safely, led by Dylan Hardy, in a 15-5 series-clinching win over Arkansas State in Sunday's rubber match at Tomlinson Stadium.

Hardy tied a career high in hits, finishing 4-for-6 with a triple, three RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases. Wells Davis finished 2-for-6 with three RBI, Drew LaBounty went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored and Brendan Donovan added two hits, one RBI and four runs scored.

Jaguar right-hander Matt Peacock (1-2) struck out a career-high five batters against one walk and allowed just three hits in a career-high five scoreless innings to earn his first career win.
