MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama junior Shaq Calhoun (Rome, Ga.) set new career highs in points and 3-pointers to lead the Jaguars to a 72-67 overtime victory Saturday afternoon at the Mitchell Center.

The Jags improve to 9-8 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt Conference. The Bobcats fall to 9-7 and 2-2.

"I'm very pleased with how we bounced back after two tough games on the Georgia swing," USA head coach Matthew Graves said. "You're in crunch time again, and you have an opportunity to win a game at home.
