The new Old Trafford boss has informed nine of his playing staff that they are not part of his plans ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of nine Manchester United players who have been told they can leave the club either permanently or on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
The Germany international only moved to Old Trafford last summer but made just 18 Premier League appearances in a season hampered by injury.
And the 31-year-old has now been informed by Jose Mourinho that he can leave the club this summer.
