Payet slams 'unjust' France snub

West Ham's Dimitri Payet cannot understand why he has not been summoned to represent France given his form over the past year.

Dimitri Payet has labeled it an "injustice" that he has been passed over for the France squad twice by Didier Deschamps.

The attacking midfielder created more chances than any other player in the top five European leagues (133) while at Marseille in 2014-15, before joining West Ham in June.

A fine start to life in the Premier League has included four goals and three assists in eight appearances, and the 28-year-old subsequently finds it difficult to fathom why he has been left out of Deschamps' last two national team selections.
