Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly being put off trying to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere because he's concerned about the player's fitness.
A report from Neil Fissler of the Sunday Express detailed how Guardiola and City had been keeping tabs on Wilshere during his loan spell with Bournemouth this season: "Manchester City scouts were taking a close look at him earlier in the season after Pep Guardiola thought that he could do a job for him."
However, a recent injury appears to have encouraged Guardiola to have a change of heart, per the reports: "But he has failed to start their last two games after ironically picking up a knock at the worst possible time against City.
