Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has admitted he was at fault for Borussia Dortmund's first goal in Los Blancos' 2-2 draw with BVB in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, his first appearance of the 2016-17 campaign.
The Costa Rica international struggled to hold shots throughout the match and was caught out by a free-kick from Raphael Guerreiro, punching the ball into the path of Raphael Varane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The forward won out and tied things up after Cristiano Ronaldo had opened the scoring.
Speaking to UEFA's official website (h/t Football Espana), Navas took responsibility and promised he'd work on his issues:
The team put in a great effort.
