But Demerick Gary certainly flashed potential last season as a true freshman, notching 21 tackles and four sacks. Assuming he steps in as a full-time starter, the Dallas Kimball product has a chance to establish himself as one of the best young defensive linemen in the American Athletic Conference. Gary has all the tools to not only have a breakout spring but a breakout sophomore season.
