AP Recap
Three Takeaways
1. What it means — While SMU still didn't play up to its potential, the Mustangs won its second consecutive game by knocking off Delaware State, 74-60, at home. SMU struggled against a below average opponent in the first half, only taking a two-point lead heading into intermission. However, the Ponies were able to put things together and dominated after halftime. Still, the Mustangs have plenty of work to do.
2. Shooting — Knocking down shots has continued to be a problem for SMU. While Sterling Brown and Shake Milton can score, they aren't great shooters.
