The Mustangs have produced big names like Eric Dickerson. But we decided to dig deeper and look at SMU's three biggest draft surprises and three biggest busts.
Biggest Surprises
WR Cole Beasley -- Beasley actually went undrafted before signing with the Dallas Cowboys, where he has had a solid career as the team's primary slot receiver. Last year, Beasley was a big factor as he caught 75 passes for 833 yards and five touchdowns.
DT Michael Carter -- Carter was selected in the fifth round of the 1984 NFL Draft.
