With the process in full swing, here is a look at the state of SMU recruiting.
Gem of the class
WR Michael Woods, Magnolia -- Woods is one of the most underrated recruits in the state and could be a dynamite weapon for the Mustangs. But P5 schools are getting involved, so SMU will have to fight to keep him.
Biggest need already addressed
Quarterback -- The Mustangs already have their signal-caller for this class in Lamar Consolidated quarterback William Brown. While he is just a two-star, Brown is a great fit for the offense.
