If Seton Hall wants to make the NCAA Tournament, a victory on Wednesday against Xavier would go a long way towards getting the Pirates there.
The Pirates will face Xavier at Prudential Center fresh off a blowout loss to No. 2 Villanova on Saturday. With just four regular season games remaining before the Big East Tournament and the Pirates resume lacking, beating the Musketeers would help move Seton Hall off the bubble.
A victory over No. 20 Creighton last Wednesday definitely helped the Pirates' cause, but the 22-point loss to Villanova killed their momentum and once again has put their tournament hopes in peril.
