Seton Hall was able to muster some last-minute magic against Marquette when the two squads met in Newark back on New Years Day. In the rematch on Wednesday, the Pirates magic came up short.
Despite 30 points for Desi Rodriguez and 22 points from Khadeen Carrington, Seton Hall fell to Marquette, 89-86, in overtime at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
Seton Hall got a strong performance from Desi Rodriguez in a big win over DePaul.
Carrington, who had the game-winning bucket when the Pirates topped the Golden Eagles 10 days ago, hit a jump-shot with two seconds left to send the game to overtime.
