We are under a week away from the Seattle Sounders playing in their first ever MLS Cup final this Sunday, Dec. 10 at BMO Field against Toronto FC. The Mayor of Tukwila, Allan Ekberg, signed a proclamation Monday naming this coming Saturday Seattle Sounders FC Spirit Day.
In the proclamation, the Mayor strongly encourages all community members to join him in cheering on the Sounders in MLS Cup Final. He also encouraged all community members to wear their Sounders attire and colors as they support their hometown team.
The Sounders have used the City of Tukwila as their training grounds at Starfire Sports since their inception.
