Sounders FC selects two players on first day of 2017 MLS SuperDraft

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - Sounders FC today selected two players on the first day of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Rave Green made Stanford defender Brian Nana-Sinkam the last selection in the First Round (22nd overall), then chose Ghana international Dominic Oduro with the 44th and final selection of the Second Round. Additionally, Seattle traded the 16th overall pick of the First Round to New York City FC in exchange for $75,000 of General Allocation Money.

Nana-Sinkam, 22, started 67 of 71 appearances over four seasons at Stanford, including all 63 of his games played from 2014-2016.
