The Seattle Sounders made the right decision on #DecisionDay, holding on to defeat Real Salt Lake 2-1 at home. They cemented their fourth-place spot in the Western Conference, and will face Sporting Kansas City Thursday at CenturyLink Field.
After a beautiful early first goal, Seattle let in a fluky but preventable goal moments later from Luke Mulholland. The second tally proved much harder to come by, but after many opportunities through set pieces, Román Torres finally connected with a strong header on frame. It was saved by a combination of Nick Rimando and Mulholland, but Cristian Roldan was there to blast home the rebound.
