Seahawks counting on Thomas Rawls, Russell Wilson to lift run game

One of the Seattle Seahawks' hopes going into this year was that the offense would pick up where it left off in the second half of 2015.

Through six games, though, that has not been the case. After Sunday night's performance against the Arizona Cardinals, the Seahawks are averaging 18.5 points per game, which ranks 24th in the NFL.

And the biggest issue right now is the run game. The Seahawks are averaging 3.12 YPC as a team; that ranks 31st.

But Pete Carroll is optimistic that the ground game will get going.
