Seahawks announce 4 percent rise in season ticket prices, and set dates for single-game ticket sales

The Seahawks on Tuesday announced that season ticket prices for the 2016 season will increase by a blended average rate of four percent and that variable pricing will also continue.

The Seahawks also announced that season ticket holders will begin to receive renewal information in the coming days and also said that the team will “continue to price 10 percent of all tickets at or below the average lowest ticket price in the NFL.’’

The Seahawks introduced variable pricing in 2015 and said that will continue this season. That means that the prices will reflect “the value and demand’’ for each game.
