Seahawk running back Thomas Rawls on course to play in opener though team won’t say if he’ll play against Raiders Thursday

Thomas Rawls and Jimmy Graham had another good week of practice for the Seahawks. Rawls may play Thursday against the Raiders but will for sure be ready for the regular season opener against Miami. Carroll didn't rule out that Graham may be ready, as well.

Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls may or may not play in Seattle’s final preseason game Thursday night at Oakland.

Coach Pete Carroll left that question unanswered Wednesday saying “you’re going to have to wait to find out.’’

The bigger takeaway, though, is that Rawls is healthy enough to play Thursday if the team wants him to — general manager John Schneider has said earlier that the team would like to get him some snaps against the Raiders — and that he is unquestionably ready for the opener against Miami on Sept.
