Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls will be ready for the start of the regular season, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Speaking with reporters from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center ahead of Seattle's preseason finale versus Oakland on Thursday, Carroll said the 23-year-old back had a great week of practice.
"There's no question that he looks to be able to play in the opener," Carroll said.
Carroll didn't tip his hand as to whether or not Rawls would carry the ball against the Raiders, saying only, "I guess you're going to have to wait and find out.
