RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks parted ways with veteran defensive back Brandon Browner as part of their roster cuts to 75 players this week.
The team signed Browner in the spring with the hope of converting him to safety, but coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks just ran out of time with the experiment.
"The specialty stuff he can do, and there was no question about that," Carroll said.
