Marshawn Lynch posted a picture of hanging cleats on twitter with an emoji peace sign shortly after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that he planned to retire.
His last season at the Seattle Seahawks came with an injury early in the season and little play ending his season with 417 yards.. And when he did play he wasn’t as effective as he normally was causing Thomas Rawls and other running backs to step up and take most of the rushing load.
Lynch is leaving an amazing nine season career behind. He was the 12th man drafted in the first round of the 2007 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills from California.
