The Seattle Seahawks went into the draft knowing they needed to add some quarterback options.
TCU's Trevone Boykin signed with the team as an undrafted free agent, and on Monday Jake Heaps announced that he's joining the Seahawks as well.
Heaps worked out with the Seahawks back in November. He played high school football in the Seattle area at Skyline in Sammamish, Washington, but was never able to put it all together in college, spending time at BYU, Kansas and Miami.
Last offseason, the 25-year-old Heaps spent some time with the New York Jets, but he was waived in August.
