RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett reported to training camp for the first day of practice Saturday.
Bennett, 30, is unhappy with his current contract that has two years remaining on it.
"I'm not going to get into Michael's situation specifically," Seahawks general manager John Schneider said Thursday. "What I would say is that, like I said earlier, 90 percent of my job is being a good listener. So that's about all I can say on that."
ESPN's Josina Anderson reported that Bennett wants to be paid in the range of the top six or seven defensive linemen in the NFL.
