Seahawks to add TCU QB Trevone Boykin as an undrafted free agent

RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks are going to give Trevone Boykin a chance to play quarterback.

Boykin has agreed to terms as an undrafted free agent, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

The Seahawks need bodies at quarterback. They went into the draft with Russell Wilson as the only signal-caller on the roster and didn't use any of their 10 picks on a quarterback. Boykin (6 feet, 212 pounds) finished fourth in Heisman voting in 2014 and completed 64.8 percent of his passes with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season.
