I wrote here Sunday about how this was a game the Seahawks needed not just to win, but win convincingly. Like a non-conference college tuneup game before facing a tougher opponent the following week, Seattle needed to show that they could put all 3 phases together and dominate a dominatable team (and yeah, I’m just going to go ahead and ignore spell check on that one because even though it’s not a word it should be, and it certainly applies in this context).
They didn’t.
In fact they should have lost.
And now they face the much taller task of travelling to Cincinnati to play a 10:00am game, on a short week, against a red-hot Bengal team.
