The Seattle Seahawks already made one league-shattering trade this October, shipping off disgruntled WR Percy Harvin to the New York Jets for a conditional draft pick in 2015.

Are the Seahawks done? Will they continue to survey the market for offensive weapons? Here's a look into the latest from the Pacific Northwest.

Aiming High At The Tight End Slot

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Seahawks inquired about Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas during their initial Percy Harvin trade talks. However, Thomas wasn't the only top-tier tight end that the Seahawks inquired about.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Seahawks remain interested in Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron - a name they also inquired about in connection to Harvin:

What This Means For Zach Miller

Despite shaving off a combined $5 million in salary through 2015, the veteran Zach Miller could be on his way out of Seattle sooner rather than later.

Here's NFL contracts and salary cap expert Joel Corry with his thoughts:

While the Seahawks could always decide to play the cost-effective card and retain Miller, the team's recent shopping habits could spell the end of his time in Seattle.

Percy Harvin As A Cautionary Tale?

On Monday, Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com cited Harvin's troubles in the Seattle locker room as the reason why “some teams shy away from investing big in players until they’ve spent time with them through the draft-and-develop process.”

The Seahawks delivered a message to their entire organization after deal Harvin that such antics will not be tolerated. It will be interesting to see, however, if the Seahawks shy away from the trade market this October in order to refocus on building through the draft and development avenue.
