Seahawks News: NFL Warns Seahawks About Marshawn Lynch, Obscene Gestures

The Seattle Seahawks have been warned that if running back Marshawn Lynch makes an obscene gesture at any time during Super Bowl XLIX, the team will be penalized 15 yards by on-site officials for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Lynch has been fined twice for grabbing at his crotch after touchdowns, including a $20,000 fine after he scored a touchdown in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers.

Lynch was fined $11,050 for making the same gesture in the midst of a  backward dive into the end zone during a game against the Arizona Cardinals in December.

Aside from the gestures, Lynch has also been warned that he will face a hefty fine if he once again decides to bypass the media like he did after last Sunday's NFC title game.

Per ESPN.com news services, "an NFL official told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the league is considering fining Lynch "significantly more" than the $50,000 it has fined him in each of the past two seasons for not speaking to the media, something Lynch again declined to do after Sunday's NFC title game."
