Here's Why Richard Sherman is Boycotting the Seattle Media

Outspoken Seahawks CB Richard Sherman usually isn't hard to get a quote from...so his recent boycott of the Seattle media is raising a few eyebrows. In fact, the relationship between the outspoken Pro Bowl CB and the press has deteriorated to the point where they aren't speaking at all.

The problems started when Sherman purchased NBA point guard Jamal Crawford's former home in the Maple Heights neighborhood. The Seattle press closely covered Sherman's acquisition of the $2.31 million mansion, and the Seattle Times even published the address.

Once the address became public, fans flocked to the home hoping for autographs or a glimpse of the "Legion of Boom" cornerback. Sherman quickly became frustrated with the situation, and since the address was made public last week he hasn't acknowledged or responded to any Seattle media outlets.

It seems like Seahawks fans understand Sherman's anger - in an online poll from CBS Seattle, over 83% responded that providing Sherman's address to a mass audience was "sleazy".
