With their bullpen still scuffling a bit nearly two months into the 2015 season, the Seattle Mariners signed veteran reliever Kevin Gregg to a minor-league deal on Wednesday.
Gregg, 36, was released by the Cincinnati Reds last week after allowing 12 earned runs in his first 10.2 innings this season. In 2014, Gregg had a 10.00 ERA for the Miami Marlins in 12 appearances before his season was cut short by an elbow injury that required surgery.
