The first quarter of the Seattle Mariners’ 2015 campaign has been, in a word, frustrating. A playoff favorite in spring training, the M’s have spun their wheels through their first 40 outings of the 162-game season, and there is little sign of getting good traction on the road to the postseason.
Can we still say it’s early in the season? The Mariners certainly have plenty of time to turn things around, but fans are becoming worried. They know how these M’s have performed in recent years, and it’s difficult to see past the mediocrity of the past decade.
