Strong Second Half Propels Men’s Basketball Past Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. – In need of a West Coast Conference road win, Santa Clara men's basketball turned to its two senior leaders.

Jared Brownridge scored a game-high 26 points and Nate Kratch posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Broncos to a 64-47 win over Pacific on Saturday.

Brownridge had 16 points and Kratch added eight in the second half when the Broncos (14-13, 8-6) shot 61 percent from the floor to pull away from the Tigers.

Anthony Townes scored a game-high 12 points for Pacific (9-18, 3-11), which snapped a seven-game losing streak in Thursday's home win against San Diego.
