BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Santa Clara women's water polo had nine players earn spots on the 2017 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Women's All-Academic Team.
Divided into three teams based on cumulative grade-point average, athletes received Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41) or Excellent (3.40-3.20) distinction.
Kathryn Burke and Keri Clifford were on the outstanding list; Blair Akerland, Emma Allegrucci, Lydia Dadd and Maggie Oys were in the superior category; Cathy Cantoni, Maddie McDonald and Francesca Puccinelli earned excellent status.
