SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara men's soccer team was awarded for recording a shutout on the road against a quality opponent in Southern Methodist University last Friday.
Sophomore goalkeeper Dakota Havlick was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
The Broncos (4-2) were on the road facing the Mustangs (2-5), a squad that had been ranked in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll as high as No. 12 earlier this season. Havlick posted his second-straight shutout and his third of the season in the 1-0 victory for SCU.
