Sheary, Penguins extend runs

Conor Sheary scored two goals, Sidney Crosby added his league-leading 28th and the Penguins won their fourth straight game, 5-1 over Boston in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Pittsburgh led 2-1 through two periods before breaking out in the third with three goals in 2 minutes, 57 seconds.

Sheary has nine goals in nine games to boost his total to 17. The 5-foot-8 forward, who signed with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent in July 2015, equaled a career-best four-game point streak.

“I felt strongly that Conor could be a good player in this league,” Pittsburgh head coach Mike Sullivan said.
