SAN JOSE — The Sharks announced Thursday they will be making a $20,000 donation via the Sharks Foundation to the San Jose Flood Victims Relief Fund.
The money will go to support nonprofit organizations “providing immediate and long-term relief and recovery assistance to flood victims in San Jose,” according to a team news release.
Also, half of the money collected by the Sharks Foundation’s 50/50 raffles for Sharks games on March 9, 11 and 12 will benefit the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Monetary donations during each of those games can also be made at the Sharks Foundation booth at Section 118 on the concourse at SAP Center.
