NASHVILLE — The Sharks couldn’t avoid their sixth straight loss as one of their worst road trips in team history came to a merciful end Saturday.

The Sharks gave up two goals in the first period and allowed two more in the second in a 7-2 loss to the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena, their fourth straight on the road trip in which they could not manage a single point.

The Sharks also lost twice to Dallas and once to Minnesota before getting drummed by five goals for the second straight night.

Patrick Marleau and Justin Braun both scored for the Sharks, who have lost six straight games in regulation time for the first time since Jan.
