SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will take on Sacramento Republic FC on March 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Bonney Field in a friendly match. The match will mark the second time the two northern California clubs will face in 2017.
The Earthquakes currently have a 5-0-0 all-time record against Republic FC, having faced them in the U.S. Open Cup in 2014 and 2015 and preseason matches in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The Earthquakes last met Republic FC for a preseason match on Feb. 20, 2016 when Quincy Amarikwa scored twice to earn the Quakes a 2-1 victory.
