It’s safe to say it was a great weekend for the Earthquakes organization from top to bottom.
While the Quakes secured an impressive 1-0 road win against FC Dallas Saturday night at Toyota Stadium, their USL affiliate club, Reno 1868 FC, defeated Seattle Sounders 2 FC 6-0 in front of the Reno faithful. It was the club’s first-ever win at home in their inaugural season.
Quakes goalkeeper Matt Bersano secured his second straight shutout in USL play Saturday night. Last night’s victory comes on the heels of their first-ever win in club history when they defeated Phoenix Rising FC 4-0 on May 6.
