Earthquakes Increase Donation for Flood Victims, Provide Transportation Details for Tomorrow’s Match

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes have increased their donation total to aid victims of the recent flooding in San Jose. Originally pledging to contribute up to $10,000, the Quakes will now match all donations made through the end of the team’s preseason match tomorrow against Sacramento Republic FC.

The fundraiser organized by the Quakes Foundation has already received donations of more than $12,000, which will be matched in full. The Oakland A’s are also contributing $10,000 towards the cause. All money raised will be given to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

The Quakes are also providing complimentary tickets and transportation to and from tomorrow’s game for all families in affected areas of San Jose by partnering with LuxBus America and Uber.
