Earthquakes fall again on road, 2-0 in Houston

HOUSTON – More road trip regrets for the Earthquakes, who struggled to create chances Saturday and fell 2-0 to the Houston Dynamo.

After Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with the New England Revolution, Dominic Kinnear’s side seemingly found it tough early on to adjust from the chill and artificial turf of Gillette Stadium to the warmth and natural grass in south-east Texas. But road woes are hardly a novel problem for the Earthquakes, who last won in MLS on their travels in August.

Unbeaten at home this year, the Dynamo were sharper in possession and quicker in the tackle.
